GE Digital Cameras Earn Five 2011 Awards in Japan’s Prestigious Digital Camera Visual Grand Prix

Power, Power PRO, Active and Smart Series cameras recognized for their outstanding performance and value
 

GARDENA, Calif. (Dec. 6, 2011) – General Imaging (GIC), exclusive licensee of GE branded digital cameras, received five Awards in the 2011 VGP Digital Camera Grand Prix, a consumer products guide book published in Japan. Five cameras were honored for their performance, features and value including: the GE Power Pro Series PJ1, GE Power Series E1450W, GE Active Series DV1, GE Smart Series A1456W, and C1433.

Major home electronics retailers, photographers and audiovisual critics comprised the prestigious panel of VGP judges. The panel selected the five award winning GE Digital Cameras from among more than 450 camera entries and 80 companies. Last year, two of the brand’s cameras received 2010 VGP honors.
